Ive finally started using photoshop. This is a photoshop speed paint. Messy and nasty, nasty is goooood.
Ive been a little bit mad doctor/surgeon/professor crazed lately. The crazy professor I was working on goes by the name Rasputin. But after seeing bioshock I came up with this sick bastard. Hes even more disturbed than Rasputin. Ive called him Dr. Llewellyn (temporarily) He lives in his own world driven by his obsession. His obsession is in reality his biggest enemy, but in his eyes its his biggest love, and all he wants is to please and satisfy it.
For those of you who actually bother to read his STORY. Here it is, and thank you for reading
Llewellyns obsession with perfection and beauty was caused by a disorder called body dysmorphia. Like most disorders it got worse over time, by the time hed turned 30 he was so obsessed that he went from being a brain surgeon to a plastic surgeon. Not only did his bdd become worse, but out of it evolved bipolar disorder (manic depression).
His bdd was more destructive upon others than self-destructive. Llewellyn was obsessed with beauty and the appearance of others. Being himself born with the wrong features, unable to correct, he saw the only way to satisfy his obsession was to correct the flaws of those who where already close to being perfect. But the will of his patient stood between him and perfection. He saw great candidates come and go with only the wish for a tummy tuck or a nose job. When only a few more surgeries would make them the most beautiful person on earth. In the end he got so desperate that he offered to do a full body surgery for free for the most suitable candidates, which where few, and where smart enough realize it was just too good to be true, but also unnecessary. So they labelled him a mad man, and rumours got spread. In the end he was bankrupted and completely devastated.
He had been ridiculed, misunderstood and stripped of the thing most precious to him: his surgery licence.
The doctor was an emotional mess and soon became completely mentally unstable. People did not share his vision, they did not understand. He was the greatest surgeon on earth and he would prove it to them. But to do so he could no longer let the will of the patient stand between him and perfection.
The incident that led him to the path of a murderer occurred one night when he had an argument with his assistant nurse over his abnormal behaviour. The argument got out of hand and he ended up pushing the poor woman out a window. The fall didnt kill her, but it left her torn up by glass, with broken bones and a broken neck. She had a blackout and by the time she awoke she found herself on his operating table. He was in shock; he could not believe what he had done. It was not that he had crippled a close friend, but that he had ruined her appearance. Even though he had worked as a surgeon and couldve saved her life, all he cared about was saving her appearance.
She was paralyzed from the neck down and could barely speak. She begged him to take her to the hospital, but talking some sense into him was useless. He was in his own little world, where he would be permanently trapped from that day on.
Her life was fading slowly away and by the time he as done patching her skin she was dead. He had just lost his closest friend, but surprisingly he did not feel any sadness, because the surgery was a success. She was dead, but she was beautiful again. And that was all that mattered.
Daaamn nice girl!! Love the story too, but I'd be one that didn't share the same vision as his
I love the lighting you did here, and for a speed paint it's awesome!! The doc's face is perfect!
Good thing you dont share his vision. That means you are sane, yeeeeih for that!
funny you would say the doc's face is perfect. Cause he sure as hell doesnt think so. I think his face looks perfect in a handsome kind of way.... Though he could need some sleep And sanity .
